On October 18, 2013, Hosam
Mustafa in the Egyptian newspaper el Yom el Sabi quoted Dr. Abdel Halim Noor el
Din saying “next year we will teach the Nubian language in schools” Dr. Noor el
Din further added Nubia was not given the right it deserves
A committee in charge of
introducing the Nubian language in school curricula was established. The
language will be taught in 2014-2015.
